SCMEP Announces Partnership with Chief Executive Boards International
SCMEP is excited to announce its partnership with Chief Executive Boards International (CEBI), headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, to provide support for Insight, a SCMEP sponsored network of manufacturing executives.
The Insight Network provides executives with the opportunity to collaborate with peers to share ideas, solve problems, and navigate the obstacles of running a business.
Often company leaders find themselves out of balance and working harder only to move slower. They sit in meeting after meeting yet feel like too little is being accomplished. Many find themselves scouring books and online resources for best business practices, organizational times, work/life balance, and performance enhancement only to walk away feeling more lost.
Having a peer advisory group where members can freely discuss issues and receive feedback from those who have been in the same situation has proven to help business leaders enhance practices, have more time, reduce anxiety, increase business strength and achieve 2.5 times the CAGR of their peers who do not participate in peer advisory forums.
Through monthly half-day sessions, members work face-to-face to sharpen skills and improve organizational performance. Events typically include a combination of training sessions, focused problem-solving, guest speakers, product demonstrations, and plant tours.
Founded in 1992, CEBI offers peer advisory forums in the USA for CEOs, business owners, and other industry verticals. Additionally, CEBI also renders National Summits, executive retreats, workshops, executive and business coaching, value gap acceleration, exit planning, and M&A advisory.
Founded in 1989 and an affiliate of the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST), SCMEP operates under the US Department of Commerce to promote innovation and industrial competitiveness. SCMEP is a private, non-profit resource for small to mid-size South Carolina businesses that uses a strategic, hands-on, partnering approach to help South Carolina companies improve their competitiveness, performance, and profitability.
