Export101: Learn the Basics of Exporting

Register to join experts in trade compliance, logistics, finance and international law to learn from their experience the basic concepts of exporting. Topics will cover product classification, INCOTERMS, logistics and shipping, getting paid and compliance and legal considerations. In the afternoon, hear from your peers who have successfully exported to new markets and enjoy the small group discussion setting to address questions that pertain specifically to your company.

Presenters will include the U.S. Department of Commerce, South Carolina Small Business Development Center, South Carolina Department of Commerce U.S. Export-Import Bank, the Small Business Administration and others.

Export 101 is an introductory training which is a first step in a series of courses on exporting that are offered to South Carolina companies throughout the year to help your company begin or expand export activities and to gain skills that will assist you in growing your international sales.
