SCMEP is excited to announce its partnership with Chief Executive Boards International (CEBI), headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, to provide support for Insight, a SCMEP sponsored network of manufacturing executives.
The Insight Network provides executives with the opportunity to collaborate with peers to share ideas, solve problems, and navigate the obstacles of running a business.
Often company leaders find themselves out of balance and working harder only to move slower. They sit in meeting after meeting yet feel like too little is being accomplished. Many find themselves scouring books and online resources for best business practices, organizational times, work/life balance, and performance enhancement only to walk away feeling more lost.
Having a peer advisory group where members can freely discuss issues and receive feedback from those who have been in the same situation has proven to help business leaders enhance practices, have more time, reduce anxiety, increase business strength and achieve 2.5 times the CAGR of their peers who do not participate in peer advisory forums.
Through monthly half-day sessions, members work face-to-face to sharpen skills and improve organizational performance. Events typically include a combination of training sessions, focused problem-solving, guest speakers, product demonstrations, and plant tours.
